Atlético Mineiro striker Jô linked to Porto - report
FC Porto are interested in Atlético Mineiro´s and Brazil´s national team striker Jô, according to reports in Portuguese press.
A Bola claims that the BMG bank may help FC Porto sign him and his teammate Bernard, as the Portuguese club also have connections with the bank.
The striker shone in the Confederations Cup, scoring goals against Japan and Mexico in the group stage.
Jô´s most successful spell in Europe was at Russian club CSKA Moscow, where he played from 2005 until 2008.
He later moved to the English Premier League, but failed to impress at Manchester City and Everton, and did not shine at Turkey´s club Galatasaray either.
A return to Brazil to play for Internacional in 2011 did not work out, but he was eventually signed by Atlético Mineiro, where his form improved, allowing him to also return to the national team this year.
