Man Utd negotiations for Bruno Gomes stall

The negotiations between Manchester United and Traffic for young Desportivo Brasil striker Bruno Gomes have stalled, has revealed oldtraffordbr.com.

Traffic is the company that owns Desportivo Brasil, and thus have a saying in Bruno Gomes´s future.

The disagreement between Manchester United and Traffic is related to the financial aspect of an eventual transfer.

Bruno Gomes is also wanted by three Brazilian clubs, two Italian ones and another English side, according to sources from Traffic.

The striker has previously expressed his intention to play for Manchester United, and as he has not completed 18 years old yet, a transfer might still happen.

Manchester United are also believed to own a percentage of his rights, which could facilitate an eventual deal in the future.

Wolfsburg confirm Luiz Gustavo interest

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has confirmed his side are interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo.

The Brazil international is deemed surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena, after the arrival of Javi Martinez last summer and Thiago from Barcelona this month, and has reportedly been placed on the transfer list.

And Wolfsburg look set to offer Gustavo an exit ahead of the 2013-14 campaign, while Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly interested.

"If you are looking to improve your team, and if the player is available for transfer, you have to discuss the name of Luiz Gustavo," he told Bild.

"There is no doubt about that. We are interested in him and we have told his agent about that."

However, the 25-year-old has moved to deny he had heard from any suitors but hinted he could be tempted to leave his current employers.

"I know nothing of the rumours," Gustavo said. "No one has spoken to me. We have to wait and see what happens now."

The Brazilian was an integral part of the Seleção side that clinched the Confederations Cup in June after a thrilling 3-0 win over Spain in the final.

He also enjoyed a superb season with Bayern, helping them to secure their record treble of Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB Pokal titles.

Gustavo first moved to the Allianz Arena from Hoffenheim back in January 2011 for a fee of €17 million and has a contract with the club until 2015.

nternacional set to sign Ignacio Scocco from Newell´s Old Boys

Internacional are set to seal the signing of Newell´s Old Boys striker Ignacio Scocco for a fee thought to be in the region of €3 million.

The deal is set to be announced soon as the Brazilian transfer window will shut tomorrow as the Brasileirao continues their season.

Scocco is thought to have turned down offers from clubs in Russia and Dubai, and Premier League side Sunderland were also linked.

But it is reported that the Argentine striker wants to stay in the thoughts of national team coach Alejandro Sabella over the next few years.

Internacional were on the lookout for a new striker after reports linked Leandro Damião and Diego Forlan with moves away from the club.

Monaco complete signing of Fabinho

Monaco have completed the signing of young Brazilian full-back Fabinho from Rio Ave for an undisclosed fee.

The Brazilian will become Monaco´s tenth signing of the summer and will join big names such as Falcao, Hulk and Jose Moutinho at the Ligue 1 club.

Fabinho, 19, joined Rio Ave from Brazilian side Fluminense in July 2012, but was immediately loaned to Real Madrid’s Castilla side last season.

However, despite playing a full-season at B-team level and making his senior debut, Real Madrid decided against signing him permanently.

Monaco then swooped for the youngster and have now bolstered their ranks even further as a result of their cash influx.

Fabinho first came to wider attention in January 2012 as part of a Fluminense side that reached the final of the prestigious Copa São Paulo youth tournament in Brazil.

Liverpool and Tottenham chase Atlético Mineiro´s Bernard - report

Liverpool and Tottenham are leading the chase for Atlético Mineiro attacker Bernard according to reports in England.

The Daily Mail claims in an ´exclusive´ that both clubs are prepared to make bids for the €25 million-rated player.

They claim that the two clubs have already enquired for the player and will now compete with Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Porto and Borussia Dortmund for Bernard.

Atlético Mineiro´s president Alexandre Kalil was on record earlier this summer claiming that €25m was the asking price for Bernard, with a €70m release clause according to some reports.

Kalil also claimed earlier this month that there were five offers on the table for Bernard, which is suspected to be the five clubs already reported to be interested above.

Liverpool and Tottenham will have to be wary of competition from FC Porto for the 20-year-old´s signature, with the Portuguese giants holding the advantage due to their links with third party investors BMG.

BMG own 50% of Bernard´s playing rights and have close links with Porto which could see them pay half the asking price for Atlético´s share.

But Liverpool and Spurs would have to pay the full fee as the FA have banned third party ownerships in England.
