Ischia: "No me meto en las internas"

BUENOS AIRES -- El director técnico de Racing, Carlos Ischia, admitió que no se entromete "en las internas del club" y declinó tomar partido por alguna de las fracciones dirigenciales que luchan por el poder, en el marco de la crisis política que vive la entidad de Avellaneda.

"Yo estoy para que el equipo trabaje, para que funcione. No me meto en las internas del club", expresó el entrenador, una vez concluido el partido ante Newell`s (0-1), por la octava fecha del torneo Inicial.

Los simpatizantes de la `Academia` se pronunciaron abiertamente en contra de los dirigentes que desnudaron la interna del club en la semana.

Y cantaron abiertamente el ya clásico "... que se vayan todos, que no quede ni uno solo".

"No tenemos complicaciones para trabajar. Debemos tener más paciencia", reclamó Ischia, quien lleva un punto cosechado (empate 1-1 con Lanús) en los tres partidos que el equipo jugó bajo su ciclo.

"Con Lanús y el de esta noche fueron los dos mejores partidos del equipo. Superamos a esos equipos que son de lo mejor del torneo pero no nos alcanzó", sostuvo el DT racinguista.

"No ligamos nada", se quejó Ischia, que también resaltó que lo fundamental "es levantar en el aspecto anímico, porque si la confianza se va perdiendo, es complicado".

El mismo técnico apuntó que a Valentín Viola "le harán estudios mañana" para determinar la gravedad de su lesión.

El plantel de Racing descansará el fin de semana y volverá a entrenarse el lunes en el estadio, de cara al partido que sostendrá ante Belgrano de Córdoba, por la novena fecha, el domingo 29 del corriente.

Palermo conforme sólo por el triunfo

MENDOZA -- El entrenador Martín Palermo admitió este viernes que Godoy Cruz no hizo "un buen partido" frente a Tigre, mas valoró especialmente haber vencido a "un rival directo" en la lucha por la permanencia en la Primera Divsión.

"Estamos lejos del rendimiento que pretendemos; conseguimos la ventaja y no hicimos mucho más. Soy consciente de que no se hizo un buen partido, pero vale el triunfo sobre un rival directo", precisó Palermo en conferencia de prensa.

Godoy Cruz se impuso 2-0 a Tigre, que terminó con dos hombres menos el encuentro que se jugó en el Estadio Malvinas Argentinas y correspondió a la octava fecha del Torneo Inicial.

Así y todo, ´El Bodeguero´ permanece en zona de descenso y espera para salir a flote el hundimiento de Argentinos Juniors, encima del cual aparece Tigre.

"Si bien volvimos a convertir dos goles, la imágen integral no es buena", admitió Palermo.

Catorce jugadores suspendidos de por vida por amaños

La FESFUT sancionó a 17 de los 22 jugadores suspendidos por amaños, cuatro tienen 20 días de prórroga y Carlos Carrillo quedó libre de cargos

SAN SALVADOR. Carlos Méndez Cabezas, presidente de FESFUT dio a conocer las sanciones a jugadores por amaño de partidos.

Luis Anaya, Osael Romero, Ramón Sánchez, Christian Castillo, Miguel Granadino, Miguel Montes, Dagoberto Portillo, Dennis Alas, Darwin Bonilla, Ramón Flores, Alfredo Pacheco, Mardoqueo Henríquez, Marvin González y Reynaldo Hernández ya no podrán jugar a escala federada.

Además de los 14 castigados de por vida, la FESFUT sancionó con 18 meses a Romeo Monteagudo; con seis meses a Eliseo Quintanilla y Víctor Turcios. Asimismo, dio 20 días para seguir investigando los casos de Benji Villalobos, Rodrigo Martínez, Rodolfo Zelaya y Emerson Umaña.

Mientras, Carlos Carrillo fue absuelto y podrá volver a la actividad de inmediato.

Mientras, el dirigente dijo que se suspende por 30 días a tres jugadores, que son investigados por sospechas de amaño en el partido contra Venezuela. Ellos son Yimmy Cuéllar, Alexander Escobar y Christian Sánchez.

El presidente de la FESFUT aclaró que mandarán a FIFA la notificación para que decida si la sanción es aplicada a escala mundial.

De acuerdo con Méndez Cabezas, el partido amistoso de la selección disputado el 22 de mayo pasado ante Venezuela aún sigue en proceso de investigación, por lo que las sanciones impuestas son el primer paso. “Este es la primera etapa porque la investigación continuará”, enfatizó.

Asimismo, fue claro al decir que “el trabajo no termina en este momento; estamos finalizando la primera etapa. Seguiremos en la lucha de este flagelo que está a nivel mundial, contamos con el apoyo de la FIFA, CONCACAF y UNCAF. También el de la Fiscalía que nos a ayudado”.

Antes de dar paso al listado de las sanciones aclaró que los procesos de todas las selecciones continuarán su proceso. “En esta ocasión estamos apartando personas que tomaron el camino equivocado. Aclarar que los procesos de las selecciones seguirán de la misma manera con su trabajo”.

Agregó: “La investigación va a continuar. Esta lucha tiene que ser permanente. Por eso se invitamos a la sub 15 quienes a penas inician un proceso y pasaran por el resto de selecciones, que ellos conozcan sobre este tema”, dijo en referencia al grupo de seleccionados juveniles quienes estuvieron presentes en la conferencia de prensa.

FESFUT Suspends Players

San Salvador, 20 September 2013 - The Salvadoran Football Federation, after finalizing the first phase of its investigative process, announced the sanctions imposed by the Disciplinary Commission on various players, for their links to match fixing in National Team games against DC United (friendly in 2010), United States (friendly in 2010), Mexico (Gold Cup 2011) and Paraguay (friendly in 2013).

FESFUT clarifies that this finalizes the first phase, and that the investigation continues open. There is sufficient reason to consider that the friendly match against Venezuela, played the 22nd of May of this year, may have been manipulated through fixing of the final score, for which the investigations remain open.

The President of the Salvadoran Football Federation, conveyed that “the work of Disciplinary Commission has been exhaustive, and all types of information revealed in interviews has been taken into account, as well as videos and testimony of persons who have showed the valor to testify in search of those responsible in match fixing of national team games, in order to arrive at definitive and concrete decisions.”

“The character of “Representatives of the Country,” which the Numeral 1 of Article 76 of the FESFUT Statutes grants upon the members of national teams, is the inspiration that the legislator used to denote the contribution that each Salvadoran should make.”

“To fail to uphold this entrusted loyalty and dishonor the jersey of the country in this way, signifies nothing less than failure to comply with the representation bestowed.”

“For that reason, having carried out this investigation, and found the evidence that in this manner has been revealed in respect to the players that have participated in such activities, this institution has set a precedent with this decision.”

“We want to set an example to current and future generations so that they will remain alert and not allow themselves to become involved in negative undertakings, wasting years of dedication and sacrifice for football, and ending their sporting careers at the same time they destroy the energetic support of the tremendous fan base our country has.”

“The work is not finished at this time. For today, we are concluding a preliminary phase, and we have a new study to undertake in reference to other games that are being investigated, involving the national team and also teams involved in the CONCACAF Champions League, as well as other games that may emerge.”

“We have the support of authorities from FIFA, CONCACAF, UNCAF, the Attorney General of the Republic, and we look for everyone’s support; from the fans themselves, and anyone who wishes to join our efforts.”

“It is for that reasons we have also created an email: tuinformacionesvaliosa@fesfut.org.sv, so that anyone with information can help us find the parties responsible for match fixing.

On this occasion we are singling out for separation those who chose the wrong path, but we wish it to remain clear that the National Teams will continue their work according to the established plans for their respective competitions.

FESFUT, supported by the Disciplinary Commission, the jurisdictional organ tasked with resolving these types of cases, has taken the decision to sanction the following players:

The El Salvador Football Federation (FESFUT) announced today sanctions to a number of Salvadorian players, including 14 life bans, as a result of an ongoing investigation into match manipulation allegations.

CONCACAF fully supports the Football Federation of El Salvador (FESFUT) and its President in the above mentioned investigation as well as the sanctions rendered today.

The fight against match-manipulation to protect the integrity of the beautiful game is a top priority for the Confederation. In alignment with FIFA guidelines and in line with CONCACAF´s commitment to ensure the legitimacy of the sport throughout the region, it is our duty to fight against organized crime alongside all stakeholders involved.

Det er i hvert fald en rigtig Latino-beslutning, man går planken ud - spørgsmålet er om det kan danne præcedens i eksempelvis europæisk fodbold - jeg har min tvivl desværre.

Jeg tror vi kun har set toppen af isbjerget, både i El Salvador og globalt, men jep godt der bliver slået ned på det og godt at se de højtprofileret spillere ikke går fri med nedsat straf.

Inicial 2013: late Maxi Rodríguez golazo keeps Newell’s clear & Godoy Cruz beat Tigre

Friday night saw the eighth round of the 2013 Torneo Inicial begin with Godoy Cruz beating Tigre 2-0 in Mendoza, and a little later league leaders Newell’s Old Boys ensured they’ll still be top of the table at the end of the weekend thanks to a fantastic late winner from Maxi Rodríguez, which gave them a 1-0 win over a Racing side who lost yet again in spite of arguably their best performance of the season so far. Godoy Cruz 2-0 Tigre

José Luis Fernández opened the scoring for Godoy Cruz with a fantastic free kick. Tigre applied some pressure in the second half, pushing for an equaliser, but Godoy Cruz wrapped the game up in stoppage time with a lob from Jonathan Ramis, who’d been put through by Mauro Óbolo.

Racing 0-1 Newell’s Old Boys

Racing played well and looked like securing a draw against the best team in the country in Carlos Ischia’s third match in charge, but Maxi Rodríguez snatched the point from them in the 86th minute with an astonishing goal. Enjoy.
