Inter increase Philippe Coutinho´s price tag to €15million - report

Inter Milan have reportedly raised Philippe Coutinho´s asking-price from €8million to €15million after they rejected a bid from Liverpool.

The Nerazzurri turned down the Premier League club´s offer last week, which is believed to have been £6.7million.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the San Siro outfit have now upped the minimum fee they will accept for the 20-year-old by €7million.

Countinho started his career at Vasco da Gama but moved to the Italian giants in 2010 and immediately broke into, then coach, Rafa Benitez’s team, with the Spaniard claiming that “Coutinho is the future of Inter”.

However, a dip in form and the sacking of Benitez caused for the Brazilian to drop out of the starting line-up, leading to a loan move to Espanyol for the second half of last season.

Coutinho scored 5 goals in 16 games for the Spanish side, while attracting the attention of a number of European clubs.

Inter president plays down move for Corinthians star Paulinho

Inter president Massimo Moratti has played down a move for Corinthians star Paulinho, following the transfer of playmaker Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray.

The Seleção midfielder has long been linked with a move to the San Siro, particularly during the last summer transfer window.

Paulinho was believed to have not considered a move away from Brazil due to his desire to play in the FIFA Club World Cup in December, in which Corinthians beat Chelsea in the final.

The Nerazzurri are now expected to continue their pursuit of Paulinho, after Sneijder agreed terms with the Istanbul giants on Sunday, ahead of a reported €7.5 million transfer.

However, Massimo Moratti noted that the possible signing of Paulinho depends on his price tag and wanred the club are in a rush to replace the Netherlands international.

The 65-year-old said: "One step at a time. We´ve just done this, let´s now see what we need to do. A player like that, with his attributes, is always useful. But the cost does come into it.

"I don´t know [if Inter will sign new players], it depends if it´s worth it. Everything´s so expensive in Italy, so I don´t think anything will happen."

Racing: ¿Centurión al Anzhi ruso?

BUENOS AIRES -- El mediocampista ofensivo Ricardo Centurión está a un paso de ser transferido al club Anzhi, de Rusia, en 7,5 millones de euros, aunque jugaría en Racing hasta junio del año próximo.

A Racing le quedarían unos 6 millones de euros limpios según las últimas negociaciones, con lo cual sería la venta de mayor valor en la historia del club.

Si bien en Racing daban por hecho la negociación, el representante del futbolista, Eduardo Rosetto, aclaró que "aún no está cerrada".

Justamente Fariña y Centurión fueron centro de gestiones del Porto, pero finalmente fueron los rusos de Anzhi los que quedaron a un tris de llevarse a Centurión, quien participó del seleccionado sub 20 que quedó eliminado en primera fase del campeonato Sudamericano que se está jugando en Mendoza.

Tanto Centurión como Vietto volvieron a entrenar en Avellaneda junto al plantel de Racing tras tener algunos días libres luego de la eliminación en el citado Sudamericano.

så skulle der være lidt mulighed for røde kort i pamplona..tror nu der skal mere til for at redde osasuna...

Jeg synes ikke det er der hvor Liverpool mangler en spillere. Der er andre pladser, hvor det er mere tiltrænkt, og det var bl.a. grunden til jeg ikke var den store fortaler for Sneijder i Liverpool. Udover at Sneijder heller ikke er den spiller han var tidligere.
