Når man ser på det idag, er det fandme ærgerligt at det luksusproblem vi dengang havde på midten, endte ud med at både Diarra, Flamini og Gilberto forsvandt i løbet af to vinduer og vi nu står med de resterende medlemmer af EyeQ.

Selvom Diarra´s fodboldmæssige kvaliteter er mere end velkomne, er jeg sgu ikke helt sikker på at jeg ønsker endnu en krukke i klubben. Særligt hvis Gallas forlænger vil vores krukkeindeks være voldsomt højt.

Kunne Upson være en mulighed, alle spillere fra West Ham er sat til salg?

Er det ikke kørt lidt op? Som jeg forstår det, så siger han bare at alle undtagen SP er til salg til den rette pris.

Jo Upson kunne også være en fin, dog lidt kortsigtet, løsning.

Udover no-brainerne; at vi mangler en plan B til tider og at vi ikke har en keeper der er god nok, så er følgende værd at fremhæve:

So if Dixon, Adams and the rest of the famed defence of the nineties know how to put right the problems which have afflicted the Arsenal defence in the last five years, why are they not on the training ground working alongside their former mentor? As it turns out it appears that the question has already been asked...just not by people who are currently inside the club.

“I’m surprised that...well put it this way, Steve Bould is there helping the reserves and he knows how to defend. They have someone who was brought up in the club who knows how it should be done. Why is he not being asked because I’m not sure that he has been?

“Nigel Winterburn went to Blackburn Rovers and was doing some coaching with Paul Ince; why has he not been asked back? Martin [Keown] is now doing media stuff. He was there but isn’t any more. Tony Adams is out of a job and looking for a managerial role; could he be asked? Nobody has asked me... I think there needs to be some organisation on that side of things.”

Frey til 110 mio. lyder næsten for godt til at være sandt.

Hvis der er bare det mindste hold i det rygte, så siger jeg køb, køb, køb! Og det i en allerhelvedes fart.

Rygterne går på ham og Hugo Lloris. Lloris er selvfølgelig også en fremtidens mand, som allerede har vis sine kvaliteter. Til en afveksling håber jeg dog at Wenger går efter manden med erfaring. Frey er i mine øjne en af de mest undervurderede keepere man finder.
