Kendry Páez and Mathis Amougou set to join Strasbourg on loan from Chelsea

According to a report from The Athletic, Strasbourg are set to benefit again from their partnership with Chelsea this summer as two new loanees are scheduled to arrive at the Ligue 1 club. Kendry Páez (18) and Mathis Amougou (19) are set to make the switch from Stamford Bridge.

The Alsatian club previously acquired the temporary services of Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrovic last season, but these two players have now both returned to the Premier League club, hoping to make an impact on the first team with the West London club.

Amougou is no stranger to France after graduating from Saint-Étienne’s academy and making the switch to Chelsea during the winter transfer window for a fee in the region of €15m. On the other hand, Páez has never played in Europe before, and his first appearance at the Stade de la Meinau for Strasbourg could very well be his first taste of European football.

Sunderland are in talks to sign Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea. Nothing advanced yet.

Petrovic has a pact with Chelsea allowing him to leave for €30m.

Bournemouth are also keen. And Strasbourg would like to sign Petrovic permanently, but Serbian keeper is exploring other options despite being named Player of the Season during his loan spell there.

Chelsea are in the front seat to sign Isaac McGillvary as they aim to sign the Manchester City youth wonderkid on a six-year deal.

According to Football Insider, Isaac McGillvary is getting close to joining Chelsea from Manchester City. The Under-14 England international is seen as a viable addition to their youth setup, as the Blues continue to build their younger teams with purpose.

Chelsea to offer six-year deal

Chelsea are not only closing in on the signing of McGillvary, they are preparing a six-year contract for the Under-14 youth international. They are optimistic about landing the attacking midfielder and help him develop into a future first-team star. The Blues have had a fantastic pitch for young talents and have more or less convinced many in the past to join them.

As for McGillvary, he might be close to making a decision on the switch based on the Chelsea youth system, which has produced some notable stars. Manchester City are not underdogs in that aspect, as they are probably the best academy compared to the last ten years or so. However, should McGillvary make the move, he will join the likes of Delap and Cole Palmer as former Manchester City academy stars.
