Chelsea´s chief revenue officer Casper Stylsvig has left the club - less than two years after arriving in west London.
Stylsvig moved to Stamford Bridge in November 2023, having held the same position at Serie A side AC Milan. At the time, former Chelsea chief executive Chris Jurasek praised Stylsvig´s ´commercial and football experience´.
Before heading to Milan, Stylsvig had three years at Fulham, eight years as Manchester United´s global sponsorship director, after starting his career with La Liga giants Barcelona back in July 2006.
Chelsea remain the only Premier League team without a shirt sponsor, which can be a critical source of revenue as they aim to comply alongside Profit and Sustainability (PSR) rules.
According to The Daily Mail, the Blues are understood to have had offers, but none have led to a deal. The club are said to be after between £60million and £65m a season, with new Saudi airline Riyadh Air linked.
The Blues didn´t have a shirt sponsor last season until a short-term deal was agreed with Dubai-based firm Damac. The same applied for the 2023/24 campaign before a £40m agreement with US firm Infinite Athlete was struck.
With Chelsea unable to get a shirt sponsor across the line for this season, Stylsvig has left his position
