@ B&W

Det kan også blive for følsomt.
Skriv noget spændende om FCK i stedet for dit fnidder.
Even at my lowest, I have always managed to feel contempt for others.
@peanuts(s)

Enig!

UEFA will work with the Council of Europe and the European Union to develop and implement an integrated multi-stakeholder approach to prevent and tackle the use of fireworks at football stadiums at European, national and local level. The new 2016 (Council of Europe) European Convention on Integrated Safety, Security and Services will be the foundation for this multi-agency approach," Michael van Praag, member of the UEFA Executive Committee and chairman of the Stadium and Safety Committee of the European FA, had said in a strong tone during the seminar.

Almost four years on, however, UEFA´s approach to the issue of pyrotechnic shows in stadiums appears to be changing. And radically so. Information coming out of Nyon and from European FA officials suggests that we are now very close to a historic decision. With UEFA appearing ready to allow fireworks on stadiums in their own competitions. Under certain conditions and strict safety rules. The processes are in the final stage, so that perhaps within the month the European Federation will liberalise the use of flares in a controlled context. Indeed, announcements are expected very soon. As the decision is reportedly final and fireworks will be allowed in Champions League, Europa League etc.

At the moment, documents are being exchanged between the officials and the people in charge of the case so that the decision can be finalised. At the moment the conditions are being put on paper. Strict rules are being put in place as to how this will happen, how "Pyro Shows" will be allowed on the pitch. Under what conditions, even at what times of the games. It becomes clear that UEFA will not allow the uncontrolled use of pyrotechnics in isolation. Not everyone will be able to light a smoke bomb at every moment of the match.

Fireworks (flares etc) will be allowed, but with the basic condition that they are placed in specific spots on the pitch, so as not to pose a danger to fans. With safety being the main concern of the Federation.

The aforementioned details of how to achieve a major turnaround in the case of "Pyro Shows" in European competitions were also discussed at UEFA´s recent annual Stadium & Security Conference, which was attended online by more than 330 police and security officials from across Europe. With the European FA´s strict chairman of the Stadium & Security Committee, Michael van Praag, expected to make the announcements shortly.

As for why UEFA is now deciding to do a 180 on the pyrotechnics issue. First of all, the ban has only resulted in punishment for the clubs, as fans of several clubs use fireworks regardless of bans. This raises the second issue, which is safety. If fireworks are unregulated, the risks are greater.

Finally, UEFA and the big European football offices may wear jackets and ties, but it is clear that they understand that a football stadium has a different approach to a theatre. Or a musical performance. There is passion, tension, extreme emotions. And for this reason it is felt that the return of ´pyro shows´, under strict conditions, will create an even more pure, football atmosphere in stadiums. And that is why the implementation of the measure will start very soon.

A pilot phase in the first instance, so that the officials can see how the public will respond and how the measure will be implemented in practice. And if all goes well, then the measure will be made permanent.

Interessant!

@BaW
(3mål i 5 kamp).
