Det er åbenbart ikke kun i Danmark, at situationen kan ske, nu også i England:

Tottenham are preparing to file a complaint after Manchester City and Stoke were given permission to play their Barclays Premier League game after the FA Cup final.

A quirk of the fixture list means Stoke and City were scheduled to meet in the league at Eastlands on Saturday, May 14, when they will now play the final.

Their league game has been pushed back to the following Tuesday but, if Stoke lose the FA Cup final, they can qualify for Europe only if City finish in the top four.

In that scenario, City would qualify for a Champions League place - which Tottenham are also chasing - and Stoke would go into the Europa League.

If City win the Cup and finish fifth, they would play in next season´s Europa League and another Europa League place would go to the team finishing sixth, meaning Stoke could benefit from losing their clash at City.

"Tottenham did not have a fixture at the weekend, while Arsenal were involved in a 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Sunday. However, Redknapp rejected claims his team would have an advantage because of the lack of recent action.

Subs: Cudicini, Bassong, Kaboul, Lennon, Pienaar, Sandro, Defoe.

Jeg er meget skuffet over Lennon på bænken, men enten ser Harry noget i VDV jeg ikke kan se, ellers osse er han bundet til at skulle starte ham når han er fit.

3-3 i et festfyrværkeri af en kamp. Uafgjort var vel ca. ok, selvom jeg synes vi alt i alt var tættest på sejren og måske osse kunne og burde have fortjent at vinde (set med hvide briller).

Eneste negative (udover at vi ikke vandt) var at se Wenger opføre sig som den Classless, whining cunt han er. Han trænger seriøst til en omgang happyslapping.

Ja, HVIS han er skadet. Blev krøllet sammen nogle gange, men om det er mere end et solidt trælår, må tiden vise.

Kommentatorerne på tv var nu også godt med:hør nu synger tilskueren "When the saints go marching in" - ja dem er der mange af på banen.
