Står overfor at skulle erhverve mig et par nye glas til Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Gamay/Beaujolais etc vine. Valget lige nu står mellem Riedel´s nye Veritas serie old world og new world pinot noir. Nogen der kan anbefale det ene fremfor det andet? De ser begge rigtig gode ud. Har tidligere haft Riedel´s Vinum XL Pinot Noir. Det old world glas tiltaler mig sgu men kan ikke finde uafhængige reviews af det på nettet.

Det er også en flot pris. For mig er 2012 dog lidt mere spændende. I hvert fald pt...

From 30 plus year-old vines on jurassic chalk and loess, the 2012 Steingrüble is a fascinating Chasselas that was fermented in traditional oak fuders and kept on the lees for 22 months before it was bottled unfiltered. The wine offers a super ripe, complex and open bouquet with tropical fruit and smoky flavors that reflect the long lees aging of this extraordinary wine. Full-bodied, intense and highly elegant on the palate, this pure and perfectly balanced Chasselas has a lot in common with Jura wines -- vital, finesse-full and iodine as it tastes. The finish is compact, fresh, long and fairly complex. This is a Must Buy with just 11.5% alcohol, but the structure and complexity of a 1er cru. No excuses not to buy. 91/100

Ziereisen´s 2013 Steingrüble is a single plot Chasselas from 40-year-old vines on jurassic chalk; it was fermented and aged in large oak casks for 22 months. The wine shows intense and ripe fruit (pear) flavors intermixed with discreet oaky notes on the nose. It is rich, intense and powerful but also elegant and balanced by a fine, well balanced acidity. The finish is pure and salty but shows a still very young wine that should be stored for another year or two.90+/100
