I morgen tidlig går turen sydpå igen. Franken Silvaner, Ortenau Riesling, diverse Alsace-vine og selvfølgelig et Ziereisen-besøg er på programmet.

I glasset uhøj-herlig, liflig sommervin. Syrlige æbler, frisk limesaft og grønne druer med strejf af hvide blomster, mynte og vingummibamse. Sådan lidt "silvaner møder sauvignon blanc med et strejf af viognier"-agtig. Super til terrassen - og koster jo ikke noget..!

Beaujolais er jo også rigtig sommervin, men alternativer findes. Blandt de mere obskure af slagsen finder vi (2015) Les Cretes Torrette fra alpine Aostatal. Et (70%) Petit Rouge-domineret blend, som for mig fremstår som det med afstand mest beaujolais-agtige, jeg har smagt hinsides beaujolais og gamay. Friske hindbær (masser af hindbær!), violer, jord og rucola/tygget peberkorn. Med andre ord den pizza/antipasti-ledsager, der bør køres i stilling, når beaujolais frister, men klinger for fransk.

Du kan for øvrigt være forvisset om, at jeg går og pønser på en svarpakke. Har allerede kørt et par flasker kørt i stilling, men vil nu alligevel afvente, hvad tilfældet måtte bringe af alternativer i løbet af den næste uges tid. Og mange tak for din feriehilsen - det glæder mig at høre, at du vil slubre Tschuppen her til aften.

Haha - utroligt! Her har jeg gået og ventet og ventet. Og så har jeg skrevet i søvne ...

Og virkelig fin beskrivelse af Grimaudes. Jeg blindsmagte den selv for et par måneder siden og gættede netop - gamay!

2012 Bernhard Huber Sommerhalde Spätburgunder R (Breisgau, Baden)

Fornemt præmieret af såvel erobertparker.com [94/100] som jancisrobinson.com [18,5/20], men jeg har sgu lidt svært ved at falde i svime på samme niveau. Bevares, koncentration og syre-/alkokol-/fad-balance er til UG med kryds og slange, men jeg har det bare tiltagende svært med det typiske spätburgunder-udtryk. Såmænd friskt nok (med jordbær, ribs og rabarber) og komplekst nok (med røgvarer, køkkenaffald og nellike + kanel), men bare hverken specielt drikkevenligt eller elegant :-(
