Enig, Jussi. Alsace pinot bliver ofte enten for udvandet eller for overgjort, men Schoenheitz´ kombinerer finesse ned en vis smagsintensitet.

Værd at bemærke at Schoenheitz´ tre lieu dits, sydvendte granitskråninger i direkte forlængelse af Grand Cru Brand, ligger ca 15 km inde i Munstertal, altså et stykke inde i Vogeserne. Her er klimaet og nætterne lidt køligere end langs route du vin, og derfor særligt interessant med henblik på balanceret pinot noir. Og mineralsk riesling.http://tinyurl.com/grtt7jk

Hos producenten. Ved ikke, om der eksisterer en dansk importør? Men det burde der gøre, for priserne er endnu ret rimelige for en dybt seriøs, internationalt anerkendt og kvalitetsbevidst producent. Top riesling til 13€ og fadlagret pinot til 18€ er jo til at have med at gøre...

2010 Santa Duc Les Plains Vin de Pays de Vaucluse

Ret beset en entry-level vin, der burde have været konsumeret forlængst, men den gør det faktisk flot. Rank, frisk, næsten "nordlig" i struktur, med læder, hestestald + blommer og søde kirsebær. Uhmm!

Det lyder jo ikke som en total afvisning? Fragtraten bliver muligvis omkring de 20€, men så får du til gengæld vinen til absolut laveste markedspris... Blandt de vine, som pt ikke er udsolgt, ville jeg gå efter de følgende to.

De virkede i hvert fald meget servicemindede - og talte flydende engelsk.
