Smager et par australiere indkøbt tidligere på dagen hos vindownunder.dk. Rieslingen er et fund til (oprydnings-)udsalgsprisen 69kr! Shiraz´en koster lidt over 100kr.

Har fået en sending fra NWS, heriblandt selvfølgelig en del Corbillières.

Men også Vaqceyras 2003, Domaine la Fourmone, Ceps d´Or, og Charles&Charles, Columbia Valley, Washington, cabernet sauvignon/Syrah 2009.

Sidstnævnte er 50 kr dyrere hos Ludvig Bjørn og får generelt pæne ord med på vejen.

Men hvad med sydfranskeren? Kan kun finde lidt point hist og pist, og i følge Vinhulen ser årgangen ikke specielt stor ud.

Håber du har gjort et godt køb med dén Vacqueyras, men har ikke rigtig noget bud på kvaliteten. God producent, men med 2003 kan man frygte for høj alkoholpct samt for tam en syre. Der er dog heldigvis kun tale om en generel tendens, så din vin kan sagtens være god. Med lidt held har den udviklet nogle spændende tertiære noter (fra flaskemodningen). Under alle omstændigheder gætter jeg på, at vinen (mindst) er drikkemoden - så jeg glæder mig til inden længe at læse din vurdering :-)

Den ene Charles (K Smith) er en spøjs fyr (jf. You Tube-interviewet nedenfor). Tidligere rock manager for bl.a. The Ravonettes. Laver nu kultvin som winemaker for K Vintners. Jeg har dog ikke smagt noget. Charles & Charles må være et fritidsprojekt?

Kan ikke rigtig finde ud af om han vitterlig - Olsen længe leve! - er en original, eller om der klovnes for galleriet? Uanset hvad så minder han mig om, at Washington State er et område jeg har forsømt at udforske...
