Jeg fik en 2009 Sancerre Blanc “La Moussiére”, Alphonse Mellot i går. Virkelig mineralsk og med god syre, der fik munden til at løbe i vand. Jeg er fan.

Har lige gensmagt Cabernet´en fra i aftes, og den er faktisk lidt bedre i dag...

Laaaang arbejdsdag afsluttes med et glas El Seque 2006. Lidt fad i næsen og ellers tobak, mynte, brændt lakrids og solbær. Herlig krydret mørk frugt med en markant mineralsk profil og domineret af lakrids, fennikel og mørke mørke bær. Glad for den, især her ved 11-12 grader direkte fra kælderen.

Flyver imorgen tidlig til Mallorca for at besøge 4 vingårde i weekenden. Især besøget hos 4Kilo ser jeg frem til... og så lige Mallorca - Sevilla.

Interessant læsning, IB.

Sjovt at du nævner marcipan, som er den nuance, jeg mest er faldet over ved visse spanske vine. Hvad mon det er, der gør det? I disse tilfælde har jeg nærmest tænkt mandelessens.

Jeg er klar over at det er individuelt - f.eks. fandt jeg først for nyligt ud af, at den der ´fadhed´ som fra tid til anden kan irritere mig lidt ved de sydfranske vine, simpelthen må være garrigue. I hvert fald i sin mest bondske form, så det kvæler al frugt og syre.

Ret mig endelig hvis jeg er galt afmarcheret.
